Ross Financial Products was established on August 18, 1977 as F&E Check Protector Company, a Hedman distributor. The company was founded by Don J. Ross, Sr. in Jackson, Mississippi. After 20 years of working for other companies in this industry, Mr. Ross recognized a need for a company with a reputation for dependable service and quality state-of-the-art financial equipment and products.

In 1987 Ross Financial Products was formed to expand the current line of equipment and products offered in an effort to meet the ever growing needs of its customers. Eventually F&E Check Protector Company merged with the present day Ross Financial Products. Today the company continues to service Mississippi with the same standards in which it was established.

Monica Ross Kinderknecht, Principal
Monica joined Ross Financial Products in January 2006 as a principal, being the eldest daughter of the founder. Her previous work experiences have been in business administration, operations management, and sales and marketing. Monica earned an AA in Government and Politics from Frederick Community College in Frederick, Maryland. She holds a BA in Economics and Law & Society and an MBA in Finance from Hood College in Frederick, Maryland.

Lawrence R. Smerk, Principal
Lawrence joined Ross Financial Products in January 2006 as a principal and partner along with Monica. Lawrence received his MBA and BA degrees in Accounting from Hood College located in Frederick, Maryland. He has a background in financial services, government contracting, and management of radiological projects.

Paul Wells, Sales & Service Representative
Paul has worked for Ross Financial Product for over 24 years in the areas of sales and service. One of the most enjoyable aspects of his work has been meeting the hundreds of people who have become loyal customers over the years. As stated by Paul, “We have purposed ourselves to establish customer relationships based on trust and reliability. It is personally satisfying to know that our customers will always be happy with our products and our service.”

Mary Smerk, Office & Technology Manager
Mary joined Ross Financial Products in May 2007 after receiving a MS in Management information Technology from Hood College located in Frederick, Maryland. She has a background in information technology support for the Department of Defense and program management for the U.S. Army.
